Upfront Payments
Q>>
Why does Rhodan Management Consultants require payment in advance of the provision of its services as Melbourne SME Business Advisors?
A>>
As we service a small number of clients at any time, our consulting firm does not have the luxury of large cash flows to maintain our operations, when some clients are slow payers, due to their cash flow management strategies, or are simply non-payers full stop.
Over time, we have found that it is in the best interests of both ourselves and our clients, if payment is made upfront in full for short term consultancy engagements, and monthly in advance on a pro-rata basis, for longer term engagements.
From our perspective we do not have the time, resources or inclination to be continually invoicing and following up our clients for payments past due, and not having to do so, helps us keep our rates at affordable levels for our SME clients.
For our clients it means not having services withdrawn at any point during a consultancy engagement due to non-payment issues and retaining a fully professional business relationship with us as per our respective contractual obligations.
